Lee Kent Foster,
46, from Portland, Maine, died on February 8, 2005, from colon cancer. B.S.
in education. He taught music at Brewer High School for a number of years
before moving to Portland where he taught music from kindergarten to high
school in various locations before finding his “home” as director of music
at Gray-New Gloucester High School. He played a number of brass instruments
and performed with various groups including the Casco Bay Band. He enjoyed
camping, kayaking, skiing, gardening, science fiction, computers, and
drinking beer at Rosie’s. He is survived by two sisters.

Kevin Joseph Ryan,
47, of Scarborough, Maine, on September 12, 2007. B.A. in chemical
engineering and a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the honor society
Tau Beta Pi. After graduation, he worked for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New
York, for a few years. He later worked in the pulp and paper industry, and
most recently was employed by Foffer, LLC. Kevin coached for the Scarborough
Recreation Department as well as American Legion Baseball. Active in his
community, he served on various committees. Survivors include his two
children and four siblings including Neil ’94, Carol Ryan-Ertz ’77, and
Diane Aryan O’Kelly ’80.

Robert Arnold Pfister,
42, of Orange County, California, on September 25, 2007. B.A. in computer
science. He worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in Augusta before
moving with his family to Colorado, where he worked for MCI. In 2005, the
family moved to Orange County, California, where Robb worked for U.S.
Technology Resources. His work took him to foreign countries, which he
enjoyed. Survivors include his wife and two sons.

58, from Bangor, Maine, on June 23, 2006. A.S. in human services.
