In honor of the Senior Skull Honor Society's
100th Anniversary, the
Centennial Class of 2006 established an
endowment fund to support the group in perpetuity.
Endowing the Senior Skull Centennial Fund will
offer each new class the flexibility to support the University of Maine in
traditional and innovative ways, from projects like pep rallies that boost
school spirit, to sponsoring seminars in leadership and etiquette for graduating
seniors. The fund will perpetuate the Senior Skulls legacy as a philanthropic
group on campus, continuing its mission to serve as role models for
undergraduate students. In addition, endowing the Centennial Fund will provide
the income needed to increase two existing scholarships from $100 to $500 each.
A review committee consisting of alums,
undergrads and advisors will review and approve all disbursements.
